New entrepreneurs and new investors, with ideas of business and passion to succeed have very little finance and resources and hardly any collateral. They are unlikely to have access to finance from traditional sources like banks and other financial institutions. Therefore, we need to arrange “critically needed suitable funding” for the new generation of investors.
In developed countries this fund comes from angel investors at the very early stage and the venture capitalists at various stages of business development. In India and elsewhere, this fund comes from, among others, the Government and institutional sources. In Bangladesh, we need to have a “Venture Capital” in the public sector, as funds from the private sector are very unlikely, to come at this stage, in such a risky environment as it is obtaining now or is likely to be in the near future.
Entrepreneurship Bangladesh Ltd. may have financing arrangements for the new generation of entrepreneurs in terms of “Venture Capital” under this organization and called “EB Venture Capital”
In this regard, trainee entrepreneurs will be recommended with the public and private banks and other financial institutions to assist them for getting credit for investment
